Do you ever . . .

Do you ever suffer with the weight of God’s calling? The heavy responsibility? The great opportunity to be misunderstood, to stain the glory of God? It makes me want to crawl under a rock and hide whatever non-talent I have. I really can’t do this. I’ll screw up, because I am a screw-up. God will have to dig me out, dust me off and present this big chicken-hearted screwball as something of value, someone to listen to. What in the world must he be thinking!!!!

Trying to hide,
Robin

Sounds like you should read the four steps to avoid burnout.

Hang in there! Be bold, but also patient and content no matter what the circumstance.

    Hey Girlfriend!

I just wanted to encourage you.

I have only got part of your vision for what God has called you to do. In my mind it is an awesome task both in he sense that it’s just “super cool” and not easily done. Certainly not quickly done.

I think you have A Life’s Work that isn’t one dimensional nor rigidly fixed.

There has never ever been a task given of God to any human that could not be done, even in the face of human weakness.

Christ does the work. He places the burden, balances the burden, secures the burden and then clears the way for the burden to be carried to it’s ultimate conclusion.

He already knows the path you must go (you don’t have to know) and has already put people in your way to help you along.

    (Remember?!)

When you hit a road block Jesus will be there with some little thing to help you. Just don’t hide.

Keep going. It’s not a surprise to God if you make a mistake. I would say He’s already prepared for that. But you wont experience the blessing of that solution if you’re hiding…

You don’t have to know everything and you don’t have to be perfect to accomplish the things He has given to you to. You just need to be you depending on Him.

Christ in you, the hope of Glory.

    Be encouraged. :-)

Wow! Big help is found in friends, even those I’ve never set eyes upon. Encouragement is not the best word for what these friends give. “Sic ‘em” is more like what I hear. A complete belief of God in me. “Sic ‘em, you have all you need when you need it. Go get ‘em.”

    I’m in!

With friends like these, who can be down or out?
    Thank you Mark and Chere.
