Hey, My first time on your blog and I get an opportunity to pray for you. Yes, the wife of a minister is difficult and, so often it seems, there is not one person you can talk things thru with because everything is confidential. Chocolate is always good – I’ve taken to dark chocolate so I can at least pretend like I’m doing my body some good. A walk always clear the brain and offers many moments to look at God’s creativity (a friend to walk with always helps too – soo sorry I’m not there) and to discuss the “problems of the world with HIM. You can lay it all at his feet, tell HIM of your quandry and even express, in no uncertain terms, your disgust of the situation. He created each feeling and is able to handle it when we express them. Love you, my friend.
Brenda
Thank you, thank you, thank you!
Brenda, it is good to hear from you and welcome to the blog. Girlfriends like you are a real treasure.
I’ve taken to dark chocolate too, but I must confess the quantities I desire still isn’t good for the body. Know what I mean? I sure would love a walk with you and a talk with Him like old days. God is faithful and good to direct my path. It’s me. I get frustrated and lose heart way too easily. I love you, my friend.
I thank God for you!
